Business Cashback Rewards Program Disclosure
Program Rules: In this Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (“Logix Rewards Program Terms and Conditions”, “Terms and Conditions” and “Agreement”), the words "we", "us", "our", and "Logix" each mean Logix Federal Credit Union. The words “business entity” mean the business entity that has established Logix membership. The words "you", "your”, "yours", and “cardholder” each mean the business entity and all authorized signers/persons who apply for, and who use, the Smart Business Cashback Credit Card and participate in the Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Rewards Program. The words “Authorized Card User” mean any person to whom the business entity requests Logix to issue a Smart Business Cashback Credit Card on behalf of the business entity. "Rewards Card" and “Credit Card” both mean the Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card. “Rewards Card Information” means the business and cardholder name appearing on the Rewards Card, the Rewards Card number, expiration date, and security code number. “Logix Rewards Program” and “Rewards Program” mean the Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Rewards Program. “Cashback Rewards Points”, “Rewards Points” and “Points” all mean the Cashback Rewards Points that you earn under the Rewards Program when you use your Rewards Card and/or Rewards Card Information to make qualifying net new business-purpose purchases . “Rewards Point Earnings”, “Points Earnings” means the Cashback Rewards Points that you earn. “Rewards Account” means the account record that we establish to track and provide you with information on, and details of, your Rewards Points Earnings and Redemptions. “Reward” means the Cashback Statement Credit you receive when you redeem your Rewards Points. By activating and using, or authorizing others to use, the Rewards Card and/or Rewards Card Information, you agree to be bound by these Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Rewards Program Terms and Conditions. Please read this information carefully and retain it for your records.
Integrated Documents and Entire Agreement: You understand and agree that the Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Agreement and Disclosure, the Terms of Use on the “Welcome to Logix Rewards” website, the Rewards Program Frequently Asked Questions, and the Business Accounts Agreement and Disclosure are incorporated herein by this reference, are an integrated part of this Agreement, and represent our entire agreement with you regarding the Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Rewards Program.
Enrollment: By activating your Smart Business Cashback Credit Card, you are automatically enrolled in the Rewards Program. There is no fee to participate in the Cashback Rewards Program.
General: When you use your Rewards Card and/or Rewards Card Information to make qualifying net new business-purpose purchases, you automatically earn Cashback Rewards Points.
The Reward: When you redeem Rewards Points the Reward is made as a Statement Credit to your Credit Card Account and show as a “Logix Cashback Rewards Credit” on your Credit Card Statement and in your Credit Card transaction history. Rewards Point redemptions (the Reward) can only be made as a credit to your Credit Card Account and cannot be made to you directly or as a deposit to your other Logix accounts.
Rewards Points: Each time you use your Smart Business Cashback Credit Card (Rewards Card) or Credit Card Information (Rewards Card Information) you will earn 1.5 Cashback Rewards Points for every $1 you spend on qualified net new business-purpose purchases.
Rewards Points Limit: There is no limit on the number of Cashback Rewards Points you can earn.
Rewards Points Redemption Value: The redemption value of Cashback Rewards Points is 1% of the number of Rewards Points redeemed. Each Point is worth $0.10 (or 1:100). This means that 100 Points is equal to $1.00. See the Rewards Points Redemption section below.
Qualified Purchases: Qualified purchases are any net new business-purpose purchase you make using your Rewards Card or Rewards Card Information, excluding the purchases shown in the Excluded Purchases section below.
Determination of Qualified Purchases: Any determination of qualifying purchases, other transactions, and exceptions, for the purpose of earning Rewards Points is at the sole discretion of Logix Federal Credit Union. All Rewards Card Purchases, credits, and adjustments, are subject to verification. If a transaction is the subject of a billing or other dispute, the related earned Rewards Points may be deducted from the Rewards Points total during the dispute period. If the transaction is reinstated, the corresponding Rewards Points will be reinstated. Logix reserves the right to verify and adjust Rewards Points at any time prior to or following Rewards Points posting and redemption.
Excluded Purchases: Purchases that do not qualify for Rewards Points are: (a) Purchases of less than $1.00; (b) Purchases made for personal, family or household purposes; (c) Cash Advances, including Cash Withdrawals, Transfers to your Logix business accounts, Overdraft Protection Transfers, and any other cash disbursement, transfer, or money transfer; (d) Any Payment, such as a bill payment or other payment for services; (e) Truckstop Purchases; (f) Purchases of Gift Cards and Negotiable Instruments (money orders and cashiers’ checks); (g) Fees and Charges that are imposed and separate from the amount of the Purchase itself (such as Foreign Currency Conversion and Cross-Border Fees); (h) Lottery and Gambling Purchases and Payments; (i) Any Purchase or Payment considered illegal or unlawful under any applicable federal, state, or local laws; and, (j) fraudulent, unauthorized, and disputed transactions that are reversed or recredited (either partially or in full) to your Credit Card Account. Logix may establish additional exclusions at any time without prior notice.
Net New Purchases: Net new purchases are qualifying new business-purpose purchases, minus any credit received for merchandise returns, credits or adjustments to a Purchase amount resulting from fraud or unauthorized use, and any Purchase that we deem to be unqualified. We will deduct or reverse the related Cashback Rewards Points earned for such credits or adjustments in these cases. In cases where you dispute any Purchase, we will deduct the Cashback Rewards Points earned during the dispute period.
Whole Dollars and Whole Points: Rewards Points are earned only on the whole dollar amount of the transaction; we exclude the cents. For example, on a $30.45 Purchase transaction, the whole dollar amount for the transaction is $30. Similarly, only whole points can be earned. Fractional dollars and points are not permitted.
Multiple Cardholders: Qualifying net new business-purpose purchases made by multiple Cardholders, including Authorized Card Users, on the same credit card account, apply.
Point Pooling: We will automatically "pool" (combine) Rewards Points earned by each cardholder on the Rewards Card credit card account in the Rewards Account.
Point Expiration: Cashback Rewards Points earned do not expire as long as you make a qualified Purchase within any consecutive 24-month period; otherwise, all accumulated Cashback Rewards Points will expire and will be forfeited. Expired Cashback Rewards Points cannot be reinstated or redeemed.
Receiving Rewards Points: Rewards Points are received and updated to your Rewards Points account within six (6) business days from the date of the Purchase.
Access and Point Information: Rewards Point information is posted to your Rewards Account on our “Welcome to Logix Rewards” website, which is accessible through the Digital Banking Business Online Banking web site (you must be enrolled in Online Banking to access information in this manner). Rewards Points balance information is also provided on your monthly Credit Card billing statement, by calling us at 1-800-565-5328 (International calls 1-818-565-2020) or by calling Mastercard at 800-810-4271.
Rewards Points Redemption:
- Access and redeem Points (see the Access and Point Information section above).
- Rewards Points are available for redemption when Points are posted to your Rewards Account.
- The minimum number of Rewards Points needed for redemption is 5,000 points.
- Logix business account owners and authorized signers can redeem Rewards Points.
- Redeemed Points are made as a Statement Credit to your Credit Card Account and show as a “Logix Cashback Rewards Credit” on your Credit Card Statement and in your Credit Card transaction history.
Rewards Points Not Redeemable: Rewards Points are not redeemable if: (a) You have less than 5,000 accumulated Points; (b) You are “not in good standing” with Logix Federal Credit Union; (c) Your required minimum monthly payment is more than 45 days late; (d) You are in default under the terms of the Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Agreement and Disclosure; or, (e) You or Logix closes your Credit Card Account.
No Transferability or Combination: Rewards Points are not transferrable and cannot be combined with any other Logix rewards program.
Bonus Points Promotions: We may from time to time offer bonus points promotions permitting you to earn additional Rewards Points during a specific period or for specific types of Rewards Card transactions. Any bonus point promotion is made available solely at our discretion.
Taxes: You are solely responsible for any tax liability related to participation in the Logix Rewards Program and/or as a result of Rewards Points earned or redeemed. We do not offer tax advice; please consult your tax advisor.
Eligibility and Good Standing: Only Logix members and cardholders, including Authorized Card Users, in good standing are eligible to participate in the Rewards Program. Your Logix membership and accounts must be in good standing and operating within the terms of the applicable agreements with Logix Federal Credit Union in order to earn and redeem Rewards Points. This includes, but is not limited to, the absence of derogatory notes on your share savings, checking, and loan accounts. In addition, your Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card and related credit card account must be open (meaning not in dispute, voluntarily closed, canceled or terminated by Logix for any reason); current (meaning there are no past-due balances); not over the credit limit; must not have a revoked, charged-off or bankruptcy status; and cannot have any other status preventing authorizations. If you or we close your Logix membership account, terminate your Rewards Card, or terminate your participation in the Rewards Program, all Rewards Points will be forfeited. We reserve the right to disqualify any cardholder from participating in the Rewards Program and to invalidate all Rewards Points, for abuse, fraud, or any violation of the terms and conditions of the Logix Rewards Program. If you have caused Logix Federal Credit Union a loss, you are not eligible to participate in the Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Rewards Program.
Indemnification: You hereby agree to indemnify, release, and hold Logix Federal Credit Union, any third-party Rewards Points service provider or Rewards Program website host, and any and all parties associated with the Rewards Program, harmless from any claim, damages or liability or damage relating to or arising out of your participation in the Rewards Program and any Rewards Points redemption and Rewards received, including all losses, expenses, damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees. Any Rewards offered or available under this Rewards Program is void where prohibited by law. Notwithstanding anything in these Terms and Conditions to the contrary, Logix shall have no liability to you in connection with the Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Rewards Program.
Governing Law: You understand and agree that this Logix Smart Business Cashback Credit Card Rewards Program Terms and Conditions Agreement and all questions relating to its validity, interpretation, performance, and enforcement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of California, notwithstanding any conflict-of-laws doctrines of such state or other jurisdiction to the contrary. Any action you, any third party, or Logix brings to enforce any term of this Logix Rewards Program Terms and Conditions, or in any matter related to the Logix Rewards Program, shall be brought only in a California State or California Federal court situated in Los Angeles County and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of said courts. If any provision of this Logix Rewards Program Terms and Conditions shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this Agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
Communications, Change, Amendment, and Termination of the Logix Rewards Program: These Terms and Conditions are not guaranteed. We may, at any time, add to, amend, change any of the terms, conditions, or restrictions, or terminate the Logix Rewards Program without notice, except as may be required by Law. You agree that any communication or notification by us to you of any addition, amendment, change, termination of the Logix Rewards Program, or other matter, may be made via email, Digital Banking secure message system, Logix newsletter, or U.S. mail. Any “electronic” communications to you, including email, postings to our website, or postings to the “Welcome to Logix Rewards” website, shall be deemed to be “in writing”.
